We would like to invite you to workshops within the “Reconstruction and tourist valorisation of cultural and historical complex of the Rector's Palace” project intended for employees in the cultural sector, tourism, public administration and other offices working with cultural resources.
Workshop topics are the following:
- Role of museums in creating the cultural destination
- Managing the project cycle
- What beneficiaries think of us?
Time: Friday, 13 May 2016 starting at 10 AM (estimated duration: until 2 PM)
Place: Rectorate’s Hall at the University of Zadar, Ul. Mihovila Pavlinovica bb, Zadar
Mentors: Docent Bozena Krce Miocic and Martina Matesic, M.E.
Workshops will be organized as part of activities within the element “Strengthening capacities for managing the culturally touristic destination” whose mail role is to raise the level of knowledge and skills necessary for the development of high-quality cultural tourist products and the improvement of cultural and tourist offer of the city.
One of the basis for adding values to this important cultural and historical monument are your opinions and views that will be presented during these workshops on the current role of the Rector’s Palace in a social and cultural life of the city of Zadar, alongside the planned spatial and programmatic concept of using the Palace in the future. The opinions are also a guarantee of this project’s success which will certainly mean a qualitative step towards the development of tourism and the competitiveness of Zadar in the area of cultural tourism.
